Elliott Erwitt: The life's work of the photography legend
The Revised Edition of the bestselling book containing the best and most personal images of New York photography legend Elliott Erwitt is now available in a practical softcover format. Each black and white photograph in the book is an iconic portrait of his unique art. His photographs have shaped the visual history of the 20th century and continue to have an impact in the 21st century. Although Erwitt's works span several decades and continents as well as numerous themes, they are always instantly recognisable. His spontaneous and original visions speak of true artistry without ever appearing artificial.
A fascinating coffee table book with the master photographer's most important works
The Coffee Table Book presents the most important works of the popular Magnum photographer, resulting in a collection of exciting photographs that make you smile but also make you think. Erwitt himself selected the photographs that he considered to be his best. Anyone leafing through this carefully edited retrospective will be filled with a nostalgic mood, a sense of wonder - and an enduring feeling for the richness of life.
Elliott Erwitt was the grand seigneur of magazine photography, a long-standing member of the famous Magnum Photos agency and also served as its vice-president. The widely travelled photojournalist knew how to document contemporary history and snapshots of life like no other. Erwitt passed away in 2023, but the legacy of the photography legend lives on - with a wink in black and white and this reissued classic.
