Designed in 1950 by Swedish-American design icon, Greta Grossman.

Originally produced in Sweden, this lamp was Grossman's 10th design for Swedish manufacturer Bergboms (hence the name). A black lacquered shade is supported on a black cloth cord. The lamp has an opaline glass diffuser which casts a soft, warm glow. Brass ceiling plate included.

Today, the lamp is manufactured in Denmark by Gubi - a Copenhagen-based purveyor of both historic and contemporary design. Certified authentic and produced to Grossman's original specifications.
